💡 What You’ll Need
To become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), you’ll need to:

Be 21 or older with a full UK licence (held for 3+ years)

Pass a DBS check
-
Register with the DVSA and pass Parts 1, 2 & 3 of the qualifying tests
We’ll guide you through every step with no obligation to commit until you're ready.
📚 Training Overview

Part 1 – Theory Test: Online support available

Part 2 – Driving Ability Test: In-car tuition (~10 hours recommended)

Part 3 – Instructional Ability: 40 hours of ADI-led training

Optional Trainee Licence: Start gaining experience and earning on the job
Training is paid per hour (Average £40/hr upon completion of your final exam) so you’re always in control of your pace and cost.

A dual-control vehicle that meets DVSA standards (no age restriction)

Instructor insurance and routine maintenance

DVSA registration and optional trainee licence fees
